Who are Capco’s registrars and how do I contact them?

How can I check details of my shareholding?

If your shares are held on the UK register you may use Link Asset Services’s Signal Shares portal to see details of their shareholding. Alternatively, contact details for Link Asset Services can be found here

How do I update my personal details?

If your shares are held on the UK register you may use Link Asset Services’s Signal Shares portal to update your personal details. Alternatively, contact details for Link Asset Services can be found here.

 

If your shares are held on the South African register you should contact our South African registrar, Computershare Investor Services to arrange for your personal details to be updated. Computershare’s contact details can be found here. If your shares are dematerialised you should contact your CSDP or broker (as applicable) to arrange for your personal details to be updated. 

What should I do if I have lost my share certificate?

How do I transfer shares into another person's name?

UK shareholders should complete a stock transfer form and send it to the UK registrar with your share certificate.

South African shareholders could contact Computershare Investor Services to request confirmation of the South African requirements. Contact details for Computershare can be found here.

What should I do in the event of the death of a Capco shareholder?

Does Capco offer a share dealing service?

Can I have my dividends paid directly into my bank account?

Yes, we encourage shareholders to have their dividends paid directly into their bank account.  UK shareholders may use Link Asset Services’s Signal Shares portal set up a dividend mandate. Alternatively, contact details for Link Asset Services can be found here.

Who should I speak to concerning advice on the tax on my shares or dividends?

We are unable to provide any financial advice, so these queries should be addressed to your financial advisor or accountant.

How can I register my vote for the annual general meeting?

If your shares are held on the UK register you may use Link Asset Services’s Signal Shares portal to submit your proxy voting instruction. Alternatively, please complete and return a proxy card to the address shown on the card.

 

If your shares are held on the South African register you should complete and return a proxy card to the address shown on the card, unless your shares are dematerialised, in which the proxy voting instruction should be sent to your CSDP or broker (as applicable) in sufficient time to permit the CSDP or broker to advise the registrar before the voting deadline.  Please note that your CSDP or broker may apply an earlier lodgement deadline.

Where can I get a copy of Capco’s latest annual report or interim report?

Why does Capco use electronic communications?

Electronic communications are more environmentally friendly than paper documents, and allow quicker and more cost-effective communication with shareholders.

 

Shareholders will receive documents from the Company electronically unless they elect to receive hard copies. To minimise hard copy communications, shareholders are encouraged to register an email address with the relevant registrar. An election to receive electronic communications may be revoked at any time.

How can I elect to receive hard copies of shareholder communications?

We hope that you will be happy to receive communications electronically, however if you would prefer to receive hard copies, please contact the relevant registrar. Why do I receive more than one copy of the annual report and accounts?

You will receive two sets of documents if your shareholders are held in more than one shareholder account.  If you would like to consolidate these accounts, please contact the relevant registrar. What do I do if I receive an unsolicited or suspicious phone call from a purported 'broker'?

Shareholders are advised to be wary of any unsolicited calls, mail or emails that offer free advice, the opportunity to buy shares at a discount or to provide free company reports. Such approaches are often investment scams. Information on how to protect yourself from investment scams can be found at www.fca.org.uk/scams or by calling the FCA’s consumer helpline on 0800 111 6768.

Can I donate my Capco shares to charity?

If your shares are held on the UK register, and you wish to donate your shares to charity, you may use ShareGift. ShareGift is a charity share donation scheme for shareholders who may wish to dispose of a small quantity of shares where the market value makes it uneconomical to sell on a commission basis. Further information can be found on its website www.sharegift.org or by calling them on 020 7930 3737.

If your shares are held on the South African register and you wish to donate them to charity, you may use SCS. SCS is a charity share donation scheme for shareholders who may wish to dispose of small holdings of shares that are too costly to sell via a stock broker on a commission basis. How do I move my shares between the UK main register (LSE) and the South African branch register (JSE)?

If you would like to transfer shares between the UK and South African share registers, please contact the relevant registrar, however it is recommended that you first speak your financial advisor or accountant.
