Russell Townsend
Russell Townsend, Graduate Surveyor, Covent Garden, joined August 2019.

I started my Business BA (Hons) undergraduate degree in Manchester in 2015. Throughout my degree I undertook internships with Lambert Smith Hampton and CBRE in their Manchester and London offices. I graduated in 2018 with First Class Honours in Business with Industrial Experience. I continued my studies in Sheffield studying Real Estate MSc whilst I continued my internship with CBRE in London.

Since joining Capco I have sat within the Asset Management team but also gaining exposure to the Property Management and Leasing team. The team have been very supportive whilst encouraging me to take the lead on various projects such as tenant fit outs, lease renewals, asset plans and new lettings.

I enjoy the demanding environment at Capco, no two days are the same and the work always poses new challenges which allow me to learn and further my knowledge. Due to the nature of the business I am forced to think laterally and be innovative in my thought process whilst engaging daily with external clients. I have enjoyed the networking element of the job and expanding my contacts be it via meetings or even the occasional football match.
