This Valentine’s Day, Covent Garden is returning to its flower market roots with a beautiful pop-up from London florist Petal to the Metal in the Royal Opera House Arcade.
The perfect place to pick up those all-important Valentine’s flowers, the pop-up will be open 11-14th February and in the true spirit of romance, Petal to the Metal will gift a rose to any lucky lady named Rose who stops by. Furthermore, the pop-up will be hosting an intimate workshop for one night only, from 6pm on Tuesday 14th, where guests can create their own floral crown, the perfect alternative if you’re spending Valentine’s with loved ones.
In another nod to the area’s floral heritage, Covent Garden’s much-loved swings have undergone a ‘loveseat’ makeover, now adorned with hundreds of pink roses as one of London’s most picturesque selfie spots.
Love is also in the air across the rest of the neighbourhood, including personalised gifts at Jo Malone, beautifully decorated macarons at Ladurée and London’s most romantic restaurant, Clos Maggiore – Valentine’s Day in Covent Garden will be one to remember.
