Board Diversity
Following the appointment of Demetra Pinsent as a Non-executive
Director of Capco, 10% of the Board is female.
The Board notes the recommendations of the Davies Review on Women
on Boards and has due regard for the benefits of greater diversity.
The Davies Review recommended that companies should set out the
percentage of women they aim to have on their Boards in 2013 and
2015. The Board does not feel that it would be appropriate to set
targets as all appointments must be made on merit, however gender
and wider diversity issues will be taken into consideration when
evaluating the skills, knowledge and experience desirable to fill
each Board vacancy. We will report on Board Diversity
annually.
Diversity is important to Capco across the Group. The Board
recognises the benefits that diversity, including gender diversity,
brings and has adopted a Board Diversity Policy which can be viewed
here.
We recognise the business benefits of employing people with varied
outlooks. We are keen to develop female talent and the ratio of
women to men within our Senior Management team is 1:1. Further
information on our people practices, including our learning and
development strategies, is contained within the CR section of our website.
