Meet Harry Hitchens, September 2016 Graduate

Meet Harry Hitchens, September 2016 Graduate

I started at Capco in September 2016 following graduating from Oxford Brookes University with a Real Estate degree. My first rotation was within the Property and Estate Management team in Covent Garden. This experience exposed me to the day-to-day running of a world class estate and the management of a portfolio of over 70 buildings. It also enabled me to understand the positive impact a clear public realm strategy can have on a Central London district.

Whilst in Covent Garden I have been involved with several of the ongoing development projects including: Floral Court, a large mixed used development incorporating the Petersham Nurseries restaurants, deli and retail offering; Regal House, a large office refurbishment with external living wall; and the King Street Façade Lighting Scheme.

Currently I am a member of the Asset Management team assisting with new lettings, lease renewals, rent reviews and lease surrenders. I am also continuing to gain an understanding of the leasing strategy employed across Capco’s retail and office assets throughout the estate.

Capco’s working environment enables graduates to take responsibility over the broad spectrum of projects they are involved with. It also provides exposure to all elements of the real estate industry in the context of a central London portfolio, providing a perfect platform to successfully complete the APC process.
